In this short picture book it's about a cat who starts off his day in school (Kent State University) in a classroom he is taking with other students (who are cats).
As class keeps going, it's interrupted by the speaker from the principle where he speaks about Nixon and His Cambodian Campaign. Listening to this, all students are shocked by it.
Once the bell rang at 12:00, all students get out the their classroom and begin to prepare for their strike against Nixon's planing in war.
All students march around campus. Striking for justice!
As the reach the commons of the university, they are interfered by guardsmen (who are dogs). They plan to stop their strike but as they notice the students yell out "Dogs Off Campus". They threw tear gas.
A close up of a guards hand throwing a tear gas.
As the riot became bigger, the guardsmen decided to attack more strong since they were feeling threatened.
Then the guardsmenattacked the students (Instead of bullets, the guardsmenbite them). 2 students were killed and 9 injured.
Mr. Cat was injured from this attack but once the whole riot was finished. Ambulances came and help Mr. Cat.
Then News travel through music, TV, and news articles.
Finally Mr. Cat visits the 4 dead and leaves sad.
At last there is a poster of Mr. Cat holding up high that he wont forget what he went through.
